STEVE SCHEIN
Coach Schein attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Levittown, PA and participated in football, basketball, and baseball. Upon graduation, he majored in Health and Physical Education at West Chester University, where he received his BS and MEd degrees, and played 4 years of college
football. After graduating from college, he began his teaching and coaching career at Spring-Ford, where he coached football, track, and wrestling. After 10 years of teaching and coaching at Spring-Ford, he was appointed the head football coach at Upper Merion High School and had a very successful 17 year career.
In 2008, he retired after 34 years from teaching, but has continued to coach. He has also been very involved with the Spring Ford Youth Athletic League for many years, where he served as President of the Spring-Ford Youth Football Program. He is married to wife, Stephanie, has a son, Ben, and a beagle named Dani.
